Natroma Soap Dragonfly

The 2015 International Festival of Glass is nearly here, and we're going to have a busy week!  The Festival runs between 28th - 31st May 2015, and we'll be open 10am - 5pm each day.

While you're visiting the Ruskin Glass Centre, remember to call round and see our Natroma Soap Dragonfly.  He's been hand carved from our natural goats milk soap, before being hand painted with cosmetic micas.  The picture doesn't really show off the detail or the pretty metallic colours, but he can be found in the cabinet outside Workshop 7.  We spent several days creating this unusual soap sculpture, so we hope you like him!

Remember that we're also running a Charity Chillout 29th - 31st May 2015 in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.  We'll be offering short holistic therapy massage sessions -  every 15 minutes is £7.50  We're donating our time for free so it means that all of the money that's raised will be donated to Prostate Cancer UK.  So please support this wonderful charity, and book your appointment asap!

Our new Natroma website!

We're delighted to announce that our new Natroma website is now live!  We're using a new platform, which has allowed us to offer new customer services:
  • We're launching Natroma Club - a loyalty points scheme that will award 1 point for each £1 spent which can be redeemed against future orders.  Natroma Club is our way of saying a little thank for customer's loyalty and gives them an on-going 5% discount on their purchases.
  • FREE UK standard postage on orders over £30 that will be delivered to UK addresses (otherwise it's just £3 for UK orders under £30, with affordable postage based on parcel weight to European countries).
  • A website that responds to different devises, allowing it to be viewed on computers, tablets and mobile phones.
  • A website that allows customers to post honest product reviews on their purchases - we love receiving feedback and it helps others to choose the right products for their skin.
  • An on-site blog, making it easier for customers to see latest news and information on natural skincare and aromatherapy.
  • The chance to create wish lists to share with friends and family.
We hope you enjoy using our new Natroma website!

Natroma website is getting a facelift!

The Natroma website will be changing at the end of February.  A few weeks ago, our current website host contacted us to say they were closing down - it came as a bit of a shock!  So behind the scenes we've been frantically working with a new company, who will try to move everything across to a new, improved platform in the next few days.

We're really excited by what the new site will offer, but due to the very limited timescale and huge amount of work that's needed to transfer everything across, the replacement site may not look the same as before.  The Natroma website home page address will exactly the same, but individual page names are likely to change (but we are setting up page re-directs).

So we hope that customers can bear with us during this transition to the new platform, and fingers crossed it will be business as usual next week.  In the meantime, we just wanted to reassure everyone that we're still here!  The old Natroma website will continue to accept orders until the transfer process begins, but we'll be happy to accept telephone orders or website orders can be placed on our Natural Soapworks website.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Today is the last day we'll be open during 2014.  Our Stourbridge shop will be open this afternoon between 12.30pm - 4.30pm, and we still have some lovely fragrant goodies for last minute stocking fillers!

After this, we'll be taking an extended Christmas and New Year break, with our Stourbridge shop re-opening again on Tuesday 13th January 2015.  During Christmas week our websites will continue to accept orders, but they won't be processed until Monday 29th December 2014.  After this, website orders will be processed from Monday 5th January 2015 onwards.  Local customers who need urgent items can e-mail us, since we'll be calling into the workshop on a regular basis to process website orders (so as usual we'll be happy to arrange times to collect orders etc).

As most customers will know, it's been a very difficult year for us this year.  We'd like to thank everyone who stuck by us, was understanding and sent us messages of support in the Autumn.  We genuinely value your kindness, and hope everyone has a peaceful and restful Christmas.
